1.8 million People call Central Florida home. The Greater Central Florida Region is comprised of seven counties: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, and Polk. Each county offers its own unique experience and identity. From the sandy shores of Brevard and Volusia counties on the east coast to the citrus, groves, rolling hills and old country charm of Polk and Lake Counties towards the west-Central Florida offers a wide array of lifestyle options.

The Central Florida region has seen explosive growth in everything from population and real estate, to business start-ups and high-rise development. In fact, Central Florida is home to some of the hottest real estate markets in the United States.
In recent years Central Florida has seen an influx of new residents with more than 1100 people from all over the country and the world moving into the area every week. This makes Central Florida a culturally diverse area; Orlando is home to the largest and fastest-growing Hispanic population of any metropolitan area in the United States. The region is also home to the largest and growing Asian and Russian population. This cornucopia of cultures gives Central Florida a zest and flavor that can be seen as well as tasted. New ethnic restaurants open every week inviting all to sample the flavors of other lands and cultural celebrations are often held in downtown Orlando and the surrounding area. Some of the largest festivals include the annual Calle Orange Hispanic Celebration, the Mount Dora Arts Festival, and the Zora Neale Hurston Festival of Arts and Humanities, which celebrates the life and works of this famous author.
